Telemedicine Guide PH respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the rights you have under Philippine law, in particular the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Who we are
Telemedicine Guide PH is an independent information website about online doctor consultations in the Philippines. We are not a clinic, a hospital, or a telemedicine provider. We do not provide medical advice, we do not book appointments, and we do not hold any medical records.
Information we collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect health information about you.
- Usage data. We use a privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tool to count page views in aggregate, so we can see which articles are useful. It does not set cookies, does not track you across websites, does not identify you, and does not share anything with Google or any advertising network. The numbers stay in our own system.
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to respond to you.
We do not run booking forms, patient intake forms, or any feature that collects health information. Please do not send us sensitive medical details, since we cannot act on them.
How we use information
We use the limited information above to keep the site working, understand which articles are useful, improve our content, and reply to messages. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use tracking cookies, and it is not connected to Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any advertising network. For basic visitor counts we use a self-hosted analytics tool that records aggregate page views in our own system, with no cookies and no cross-site tracking. You do not need to accept any cookie banner to read this site.
Links to other services
Our articles link to outside services, including NowServing and NowExpress, so you can act on what you read. When you follow a link and leave this site, the privacy policy of that other service applies. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of websites we link to, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing any information with them.
Sharing your information
We do not sell or rent your information. We only share data with the analytics providers that help us run the site, and only as needed for that purpose. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your rights under the Data Privacy Act
Philippine law gives you rights over your personal data, including the right to be informed, to access your data, to correct it, to object to its processing, and to have it erased or blocked in certain cases. Because we collect so little, most requests will be simple to handle. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. You may also raise concerns with the National Privacy Commission.
Children
This site is meant for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention
We keep analytics data only as long as our analytics tools retain it by default, and we keep emails only as long as we need them to respond to you and for our records.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes or as the law requires. When we do, we will update the page so you can always see the current version.
